• In 2018, I began a search for a heavenly land in the south of NZ that could rival or surpass Parihoa, my property in the north.

Drawn to the beauty of nature, I found myself on a remote peninsula on Lake Wānaka.

I purchased 60 acres of raw, uninhabited land and began my life in a caravan on the property.

Each time I came to the land, I felt I was on the “Edge of the World.”

As I began to realize in 2018 that I wanted to sell my global business interests and live peacefully in NZ, I set about a focused effort to simplify my life and focus on my new life in NZ.

In 2020, I purchased my neighbor’s land, increasing my holdings to 300 acres.

On both sites were two consented house sites, and since then I have been involved in building both homes, which I named Synchronicity and Telepathy.

Edge of the World has been the most significant project of my life, even greater than Parihoa or ChapmanCG.

It has involved and will continue to involve the restoration of the ecology of the area, and has seen 65,000 natives planted and many conservation initiatives.

All along, I have enjoyed the journey, being part of the project, and building new community in the south and particularly building friendships and relationships in nearby Wanaka.

I am biased, but I view the Wanaka area as one of the most beautiful regions in the world.

Edge of the World is steeped in Iwi history, and the Peninsula itself is regarded as a sacred area within the greater Mt Aspiring area.

Nearby are the Treble Cone ski field, the upcoming international-standard Glendhu Bay Golf Course, and Mt Aspiring National Park.

  • Synchronicity was conceived as a home for a Modern-Day Shepherd.

I was doing an international coaching course in 2021, and the feedback given to me—being the only New Zealander amongst Americans—was to coach more like a “drunken shepherd” (i.e., be more flowy).

The shepherd imagery was translated into the brief with renowned architects, Fearon & Hay. The home, which was overseen by PK, was finished in late 2023.

It is a simple six-box design with a central living room and kitchen and two bedrooms, accompanied by a bunk room, an outdoor entertaining area, a beautiful deck, and surrounded by exquisite and natural landscaping.

Synchronicity had 25,000 natives put in and sits amongst pristine nature, with entirely natural views and no humanity evident from the house.

Synchronicity was featured on an episode of The Local Project, an Australian design show, and has received over 500,000 views.

As part of my continued simplification and before the completion of Telepathy (early 2026), I put Synchronicity up for sale through Bayleys.

Like Parihoa, the next Custodian has not come forth, which means I might just keep it.

If that happens, Synchronicity will be the guest house of Edge of the World and a place I could share with CWOs and Leaders who come to NZ to visit my creation, experience Wanaka, and allow me to also spend time with them.

  • Telepathy is a name I have given to my forever home being built atop the mountain on the end of the peninsula.

The subject of a high court decision in 2011 by the former Custodian, and with a house consented that was drawn up by acclaimed NZ architects, Fearon & Hay at the time, when I purchased the land in 2020 I decided to build it.

Telepathy will be finished in 2026 and has been a herculean effort by all involved in its creation.

With 40,000 natives planted and significant infrastructure needing to be put in, the house has pushed the limits in its creation.

Sitting on 'Outstanding Natural Beauty' land (just like Synchronicity and Parihoa), Telepathy’s creation has been subject to the strictest standards in NZ.

The subterranean structure will largely be hidden from view when completed and will be almost completely integrated with the land like a “modern-day cave.”

Relationships with suppliers, neighbors, and the community have been key in getting Telepathy to this stage, and I give special thanks to PK, who is managing the project.

My vision is that Telepathy is the centerpiece of my network: a place to share with my closest and to be the ultimate sanctuary of well-being.

The culture of the land and home will be “analogue-digital,” a location where guests will unplug and return to our natural vibration of simple habits, nutrition, exercise, and rest.

NZ’s architecture is said to be amongst the finest in the world, and Telepathy will be a beautiful representation of this.

  • Drilling down two levels from the MC² global well-being network will be the Parihoa Network (the NZ chapter of MC²), and within the NZ chapter, “The Edge of the World Collective” (EOW).

EOW will represent a talent well-being collective in the South Island, integrating my connections within the community and helping everyone grow.

My property itself won’t be the place of the collective, but the “feel” will be inspired by the same energy from my beautiful land.

I have been very impressed by the world-class nature of well-being talent in Central Otago, and I look forward to introducing my global network to this part of the world.

It’s no surprise my search for peace and "Life 2" led me not only to NZ but also to Central Otago and Wanaka, and more specifically to EOW.

EOW will recognize the career and life skills in my southern network and also amalgamate well-being coaches in the area.

I am passionate about NZ’s future in well-being and being regarded even more as a select, high-quality well-being tourist destination in an increasingly busy world.
