Seven Principles of a Profound Life
The content for MC² Life will always incorporate a balanced perspective on my identity and past experiences. However, I also strive to maintain a focus on the present and anticipate the future. The lessons of the past have shaped my present self, but I am committed to developing a pre-determined path for the future.
Here are seven principles that guide me in becoming the best version of myself and expanding my ideas and concepts to have a profound impact on others and provide personal enjoyment:
Reflect on Past Experiences: Avoid dwelling on past failures and mistakes. Instead, learn from them and move forward.
Constant Self-Improvement: Regularly reflect on how things can be done better, faster, and more efficiently. I find my daily diary exercise, often completed before dinner, to be an effective tool for summarizing my day and contemplating the path ahead.
Make Decisions in the Moment: I believe that making decisions in the present is the most effective way to avoid self-criticism if, upon reflection, my decision was not the right one.
Eliminate Recurring Thoughts and Ideas: Identify and eliminate loops or recurring thoughts or ideas on a subject or person by taking action or letting go.
Embrace Imperfection: Recognize that no one is perfect. Live with imperfection, continuously improve, and avoid looking too far into the future. Instead, focus on taking the best actions in the present moment.
Regular Self-Performance and Progress Review: Establish a regular review process for your own performance and progress. This can involve sharing your achievements with a partner, close friend, coach, or even an AI bot. The key is to engage in self-reflection.
Writing as a Thought Process: Writing serves as an effective tool for expressing and clarifying my thoughts. Sharing these ideas with others fosters accountability and trust.
