I am Matt Chapman, a New Zealand-based well-being entrepreneur with a passion for talent, design, and nature.

MC² Life is a collection of well-being-related concepts that make up my life.

MC² represents my initials combined with the exponential good energy of everyone I know and love.

Founded on 17 July 2025, MC² Life has a key vision: how can my life and connections help optimize the well-being of humanity?

MC² is based on the idea that building good energy will create well-being.

Mission

MC² Life involves the creation of six key areas:

• MC², the private global well-being talent network

• MC² Search, the global well-being talent search firm at the heart of MC²

• MC² Coaching, the global well-being family of coaches

• Parihoa Network, the NZ-based chapter of MC²

• Edge of the World Collective, the South NZ chapter of the Parihoa Network

Formula

I believe everyone has a dynamic formula.

Our formula is:

• the product of our past challenges and successes (“Our Life 1”)

• the application of this to our present (“The Metamorphosis”)

• the direction we choose to take in the future (“Our Life 2”)

As I develop MC², I share my ongoing formula as an authentic leader.

Who are you?

History

I was born in Australia on 17 July 1976 in the small country town of Muswellbrook.

After starting my career in accounting, I morphed into being a recruiter and moved to Singapore in my mid-20s in 2002.

I became a gifted ultra-runner, completing 250km multi-stage races in Chile, China, Egypt, Antarctica, Namibia, and Madagascar.

As my world opened up from my running, I dreamt of having freedom in my career.

I co-founded ChapmanCG in 2008 as a remote-first company for lifestyle.

ChapmanCG quickly became a global leader in HR profession-focused search with an engaged network of 150,000 HR Leaders around the world.

Alongside ChapmanCG’s growth, I began my own entrepreneurial journey in HR and hospitality concepts, the most notable being my involvement in the creation of Bawah Reserve.

In 2013, at the age of 37, I bought a magical farm in New Zealand called Parihoa.

Parihoa represented the beginning of a new life journey as I began a double life as a farm owner.

By 2017, I would officially call New Zealand home and in 2018 began extensively transforming Parihoa into a world-class estate.

In 2019, I bought a second magical land in the South Island of NZ—the remote end of a peninsula on Lake Wānaka—which I called “Edge of the World”.

This same year I began selling ChapmanCG and by 2022, I had sold out of most of my global business interests.

Between then and now, I took a three-year break to fully focus on my well-being and shape my purpose.

During that time at Edge of the World, 65,000 natives have been planted, and a home, Synchronicity (also known as Shepherds Hut), was completed.

There also, my forever home, Telepathy, is in its final stages of completion and will represent the spiritual centerpiece of MC².
